Turning the Power On and Off

* Turn on power to your various devices in the order specified. By turning on devices in the wrong order, you risk causing
malfunction and/or damage to speakers and other devices.
1. Turn the PHONES VOLUME knob to the minimum level (completely to the left).
2. Turn on the POWER switch.
* This unit is equipped with a protection circuit. A brief interval (a few seconds) after power up is required before the unit will
operate normally.
3. While striking the head, gradually turn the PHONES VOLUME knob to adjust the volume level.
When Using with the Amp/Audio System
* To prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or other devices, always turn down the volume, and turn off the
power on all devices before making any connections.
1. Turn down the volume control on each of the devices in your system.
2. Turn on the power of the RMP-3.
3. Turn on the connected amp or audio system, and adjust the volume to the desired level.
When Turning Off the Power
Before switching off the power, lower the volume on each of the devices in your
system and then turn off the devices in the reverse order to which they were switched on.

Using the Metronome

1. Press [METRONOME] to display
2. Press [METRONOME] a few times to select the desired parameter.

Hold down [METRONOME] and press [-] to have selections come up in the reverse order.
3. Press [+] or [-] to set the values for each parameter.
4. Press [START/STOP] to turn the metronome on and off.
When using with an audio system, the PHONES VOLUME level should
not be greater than the middle position (12 o'clock).
