Diagonal alignment
In this sample, the recorder tray is too far to the right and too far back in relation to the disc and the
gripper.
Note: If the recorder tray is too far to the left and too far out, perform the adjustments on the opposite
sides.
1. Turn the Torx T10 adjustment screw on the
right counterclockwise. The right side of the
recorder moves out. This adjustment should
correct the gaps at B and C.
Note: Turn the adjustment screws ½ turn
at a time.
2. Tighten the Torx T10 recorder screws or the
thumb screws.
3. Check the alignment.
If the disc is centered on the tray, the
recorder is aligned.
If the disc is misaligned, check one of the
following:
Is the misalignment still diagonal? If so,
repeat the previous steps.
Is the misalignment front to back? If so,
go to Front to back alignment on
page 3.
Is the misalignment side to side? If so,
go to Side to side alignment on page
5.

The figure shows a diagonal misalignment. The disc is
touching the tray at A, and there is a gap at B.
