3. POWER ON MODE
Select Auto to turn on automatic ON/STANDBY operation when the POWER switch is set to
ON. Internal sense circuits will continually detect the presence of audio signals and turn
on the subwoofer when needed. When audio is no longer present for some time, the same
circuits will instruct the power supply to enter the standby mode to conserve energy. Select
12V Trigger to turn on/off power via a remote 12V dc supply. A 12-volt trigger voltage is
available from some multi-channel audio/video controllers, as well as from some integrat-
ed remote control systems.
4. TRIGGER Power and Music/Film
When the CONTOUR switch is set to External Trigger, applying a steady 12V dc voltage to
the TRIGGER Music/Film terminals will automatically select the Film contour response.
When no voltage is applied, it will automatically select the Music contour response. A 12-
volt trigger voltage is available from some multi-channel audio/video controllers, as well
as from some integrated remote control systems.
