System Update

Update the HOME Menu and applications with new applications and functions.
You must be connected to the internet to perform system updates. Configure your internet connection settings before using system update
( p.
33). (When performing a system update from a Game Card, an internet connection is not necessary.)
Note:

System updates cannot be carried out if the battery charge is running low.
•
Check the Nintendo website for a summary of update details.
REGARDING SYSTEM UPDATES
IMPORTANT: After the system is updated, any existing or future unauthorised technical modification of the hardware or software of your system, or use
of an unauthorised device in connection with your system, may render it permanently unplayable. Content deriving from the unauthorised modification
of the hardware or software of your system may be removed. Failure to accept the update may render games unplayable.
REGARDING AUTOMATIC SYSTEM UPDATES
From time to time, the system will carry out automatic updates, such as updates to a list which prevents the use of words that may cause users discomfort,
and/or updates to an internal database of wireless access points which allow you to access online services provided by Nintendo.
No prior notice for these or other such minor automatic updates will be displayed on the screen. For other system updates, a notice will be displayed
on the screen, and you will need to select I ACCEPT to install such updates.
