71028-DI Installation Guide

System Description

The 71028-DI Drop-In A/V® system is a complete mediated collaboration solution with remote

monitoring and control. The 71028-DI is optimized for collaboration pods for up to 4 people with a flat-

screen display, and can be linked through a facilitator station to up to 4 other collaboration pods as part

of a 71042-DI, 71044-DI, or 71045-DI Drop-In system.

The 71028-DI is built around a highly integrated seamless multiview switcher. The MV-71 all-digital

switcher has 4 HDMI inputs, 2 DisplayPort inputs, and a VGA DB-15 input with 4K HDMI output. Control

information is sent to the display and switcher from the TEK 3 A/V controller, fastened behind the

display on a TekBlade mounting bracket. The pre-programmed TekTouchPad provides simple and

consistent room control. All essential cabling for expeditious and consistent installation is included. It is

essential to follow approved installation techniques maintain the extended warranty covering these

products.

Using the included cutout template, cut a hole for mounting the cable housing. Insert the cable housing into the table or podium and attach the included mounting flanges into the highest accessible slot on each end of the underside.
