4. Description of the product 4.1 General description This appliance is a purpose designed unvented water heater. The water heater has a stainless steel inner vessel, which ensures an excellent standard of corrosion resistance. The outer casing is a combination of resilient thermoplastic mouldings and coated corrosion proofed steel sheet. -

6. Installation 6.1 General After reading the previous sections in this booklet and choosing a suitable location for the appliance please install, paying attention to the following water, electrical and commissioning sections. 9. Maintenance 9.1 General Maintenance requirements Unvented hot water systems have a continuing maintenance requirement in order to ensure safe working and optimum performance. It is essential that the relief valve(s) are periodically inspected and manually opened to ensure no blockage has occurred in the valves or discharge pipework. - Page 18 Descaling immersion heater With all hot outlets closed cheeck all joints for leaks. Close immersion heater housing cover ensuring the catches are pushed fully home until they CAUTION "snap" into place. Secure by replacing the screw previously removed. Be careful when removing the immersion heater as some water will be left in bottom of appliance.
