CHANGING THE VIEW-R IP ADDRESS USING KEYBOARD/MONITOR
NOTE:
CLEAR THE CONFIGURATION

1. Plug in a keyboard to any available USB port on the View-R.
2. Connect a monitor using one of the mini-display ports on
the View-R.
3. Plug in the power adapter for the View-R.
4. As the View-R powers up, you will see a login prompt on the
monitor.
5. Type - "ipinfo" and press Enter. This will display the current
settings. Look for the "em0" information which will include
your View-R's IP address and Subnet mask.
6. To change the IP configuration, type "ipmod" at the "Login:"
prompt and press Enter.
7. Type "y", then press Enter to confirm that you wish to modify
the configuration.
8. Type the desired IP address, then press Enter.
9. To confirm the new configuration, type "y", then press Enter.
10. Repeat step 3 for the subnet mask and gateway address.
11. Confirm the entire configuration change by typing "y", then
press Enter.
FOR A DUAL VIEW-R WITH TWO ETHERNET PORTS THIS
PROCESS CAN BE DONE FOR EITHER/BOTH OF THE PORTS.
This is a terminal command with keyboard/monitor (See
instructions above).
1. Wait for "login" prompt.
2. Type 'factory_reset' to reset the View-R to factory settings.
