SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR BASIC
SAW OPERATION
BEFORE USING THE MITER SAW
WARNING
!
To avoid mistakes that could cause
serious, permanent injury, do not
plug the tool in until the following
steps are completed:
● Completely assemble and adjust
the saw, following the instructions.
(ASSEMBLY & ADJUSTMENTS)
● Learn the use and function of the
ON/OFF trigger switch, on/off switch
for laser, upper and lower blade
guards, head hold-down latch, bevel
lock handle, and cover plate screw.
● Review and understand all
safety instructions and operating
procedures in this Operator's
Manual. (SAFETY & OPERATION)
● Review the MAINTENANCE and
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE for
your miter saw.
● To avoid injury or possible death
from electrical shock:
Make sure your fingers do not
touch the plug's metal prongs
when plugging or unplugging
your miter saw. (ELECTRICAL
EQUIREMENTS AND SAFETY)
