Defrosting Operation - Sharp R-7280G-BS Operation Manual

The microwave oven is pre-programmed with a time and power level so that the following food is defrosted
easily: pork, chicken and fish. The weight range for this food is from 0.1kg – 1.5kg.
Follow the example below for details on how to operate these functions.
1. MEAT DEFROST
Example: To defrost the steak for 500g.
1. Select the menu required by pressing the
MEAT key twice.

Example: To defrost the fish for 500g.
1. Select the menu required by pressing the
POULTRY/FISH key three times.

Frozen foods are defrosted from -18°C.
NOTES FOR WEIGHT DEFROST:
• Before freezing foods, ensure food is fresh and of good quality.
• Food weight should be rounded up to the nearest 0.1kg, for example, 0.65kg to 0.7kg.
• If necessary, shield small areas of meat or poultry with fl at pieces of aluminium foil. This will prevent areas
from becoming warm during defrosting. Ensure the foil does not touch the oven walls.
