Note: The scissors can only be used to replace those underneath keys W, A, S, and D. They are not
compatible with other keys.
The kit also came with a printed instruction. Customers should be able to swap keys by following the
instructions. The instructions are also provided below.
Remove a keycap
Step 1.
Insert one end (with a hollow rectangle) of the detachment tool into the slot above the key.
Step 2.
Slid the tool to the upper left corner of the key and carefully lift up the keycap.
Step 3.
Slid the tool to the upper right corner of the key and carefully lift up the keycap.
Step 4.
Carefully remove the keycap.
Install a keycap
Before installing a keycap, check the scissors mechanism and make sure it is not damaged.
Step 1.
Install the lower edge of the keycap by pushing down it and then little upward.
