Especially useful during power failures or other emergencies.
Extensive grillework covers the hot surfaces of the heater, greatly reducing the
possibility of accidental contact burns.
Used to raise and lower wick for heat output adjustment. To extinguish flame
turn knob counterclockwise.
Covers filling port of fuel tank.
NOTE: Wipe away any spilled kerosene (paraffin) from tank after filling.
Indicates fuel level in tank.
NOTE: Never fill beyond black line.
Used to rapidly retract wick and extinguish flame.
NOTE: To avoid odor and smoke, do not use routinely to turn heater off. This
manual shutoff is not effective when gasoline , gasoline (petrol)-
contaminated kerosene (paraffin), or other highly flammable fuels are
used in the heater.
Used to check and insure proper seating of the heat chamber after ignition.
lmproper seating of the heat chamber will cause erratic flame and smoke.
