HOW TO OPERATE THE CONSOLE
Note: If there is a sheet of plastic on the console,
remove the plastic before operating the console.
1. To turn on the power, press the Mode button or
simply begin pedaling. When the power is turned
on, the entire display will turn on for a few seconds.
The console will then be ready for operation.
2. Select one of the five modes:
Scan modei
When the
power is turned
on, the scan
mode will auto-
matically be
selected. One
mode indicator
will show that
the scan mode
is selected,
and a second
mode indicator will show which mode is currently
displayed. Note: If a different mode is selected,
you can select the scan mode again by repeatedly
pressing the Mode button.

for continuous
display in the
lower display,
press the Mode
button repeat-
edly. The mode indicators will show which mode is
selected. Make sure that the scan mode is not
selected.
SpeediThis mode will display your pedaling speed
continuously in the upper display.
3. To reset the display, hold down the Mode button for
a few seconds. After the display is reset, the scan
mode will be selected.
4. To turn off the power, simply wait for several min-
utes. Note: The console has an auto-off feature.
If the pedals do not move and the Mode button
is not pressed for several minutes, the power
will turn off automatically in order to conserve
the battery.
