To secure or tighten the wheel on a Weslo Pursuit E 26 Bike that is loud, wiggling, and spraying grease, follow these steps:
1. Check the Chain Tension: If the chain is loose and causing excessive noise or slipping, adjust it by loosening (but not removing) the axle nuts on both sides of the flywheel. Pull the flywheel forward to tighten the chain.
2. Tighten the Crank Arms: If the crank arms are loose, loosen the crank nut on the left arm of the crank. Use a screwdriver in the slot of the slotted crank nut and tap it lightly with a hammer to turn it counterclockwise. Do not overtighten.
3. Secure All Fasteners: Ensure all nuts, bolts, and screws on the wheel and crank assembly are properly tightened to prevent movement.
4. Check for Grease Leakage: If grease is spraying, inspect the crank and axle area for excess grease and wipe off any excess to prevent further dispersion.
Following these steps should stabilize the wheel and reduce noise and movement.
