Problem
The sensor fields become
hot.
Hob²Hood does not work.
Hob²Hood operates, but
only the light is on.
Hob²Hood modes H1 - H6
operate, but the light is off.
There is no sound when
you touch the panel sensor
fields.
Wrong language is set.
A cooking zone deacti‐
vates.
A warning message saying
the cooking zone is going
to switch off comes on.
and a message come
on.
O - X - A appears.
blinks.
Possible cause
The cookware is too large
or you put it too near to the
controls.
You covered the control
panel.
You activated the H1
mode.
There might be a problem
with the light bulb.
The sounds are deactiva‐
ted.
You changed the language
by mistake.
Automatic Switch Off deac‐
tivates the cooking zone.
Lock operates.
Child Lock operates.
There is no cookware on
the zone.
The cookware is unsuita‐
ble.
The diameter of the bottom
of the cookware is too
small for the zone.

Remedy
Put large cookware on the
rear zones if possible.
Remove the object from
the control panel.
Change the mode to H2 -
H6 or wait until the auto‐
matic mode starts.
Contact an Authorised
Service Centre.
Activate the sounds. Refer
to "Daily use".
Reset all functions to the
factory settings. Select Re‐
set All Settings from the
Menu.
Disconnect the hob from
the electrical supply. After
1 min, connect the hob
again. Set Language, Dis‐
play Brightness and Buz‐
zer Volume.

Deactivate the hob and ac‐
tivate it again.

Use suitable cookware.
