3. Press the clutch pedal down and select a gear.

CAUTION: If a gear does not engage
immediately, do not use force. Release
the clutch pedal, press it down again and
try to engage the gear again.
Note: You can start the product on all gears.
4. To operate the product rearward, lift the gearshift
lever and pull it rearward.

5. Slowly release the clutch pedal.
6. To brake, press the brake pedal.
7. Select cutting height (1–5) with the cutting height
lever.
CAUTION: Do not operate the product
with the cutting height lever in the
servicing position (S). Risk of damage to
the drive belt.

8. Lower the cutting deck.
9. Start the blades.
To start on a slope, M125-85F
1. Press the parking brake pedal down. This also
disengages the clutch.
2. Apply full throttle.
3. Select first gear.
4. Slowly release the parking brake pedal.
To stop the engine
1. Stop the blades.
2. Lift the cutting deck and put it in transport position.
