Batteries with a lower capacity rating should not be charged on account of the high charging current! Only use fast chargeable NiMH/NiCad batteries!
Universal fast charger with exact, processor-controlled Minus Delta U charge control Battery overcharging is not possible!
For alternative operation in all 12V vehicles with 12 Volt DC cable.

Charging procedure

  • Only 2 or 4 batteries of the same size, capacity and charge state can be charged.
    The 2/4 switch must be set according to whether you are charging 2 or 4 batteries.
  • Only charge batteries in pairs. If you are only charging 2 batteries, use the left charging slots first.
  • Do not charge AA and AAA batteries simultaneously!
  • Charging starts automatically as soon as the batteries are inserted, and the red LED becomes illuminated.
  • The red LED flashes if one or more batteries are defective. Remove the defective battery and restart the charging process.
  • When the charging process is completed, the LED illuminates green. Remove the batteries from the device. Do not permanently leave the batteries in the device.
  • An additional safety timer shuts off the charger if the charging time is exceeded.

Battery directions

  • The included batteries must be charged before they are used for the first time. Remove any isolating strips between the batteries and charger.
  • Rechargeable batteries only attain maximum charging capacity once they have beencharged/discharged several times over.
  • Only charge batteries when they are empty so as to increase their lifespan.
  • Totally discharging the batteries should be avoided. Do not completely discharge the batteries inflashlights, watches or fire alarms or else they will be permanently damaged.
  • Batteries discharge by themselves. The rate of discharge is faster the warmer the ambient temperature is. Store batteries at 2 to 8 degrees (in a refrigerator, for example).
  • Unusable batteries belong in the proper collecting bin of a store or of the community, and not inhousehold waste!

Safety information

  • NEVER charge alkaline batteries or other conventional disposable batteries as this could cause anexplosion!
  • Use only high-quality brand batteries as only these will ensure a long service life with many charging/discharging cycles.
  • Never short-circuit the contacts of the charger/mains adapter!
  • Only use the unit in dry rooms and protect it against moisture and dust.
  • Protect the charger/power pack from heat; do not cover them and ensure sufficient ventilation.
  • Do not use or open defective mains adapters and chargers. Repairs must only be completed by anauthorized specialist.
  • Clean the unit with dry, soft cloths only.
  • When not in use, disconnect the unit from the power supply.

  • The mains adapter, just as for all electrical appliances, must be kept away from children!
