Additionally, to prevent any potential damage, the device automatically shuts off when exposed to high electrostatic charges. When the device is powered on and you press the button, the SaluTron D2X will immediately power off. If the device is not used, it will automatically power off after approximately three minutes. If the device is turned on without the probe screwed in, a blinking probe icon will appear on the display accompanied by an audible signal. Zeroing of the device Special conditions, such as fluctuating temperatures, the introduction of new batteries, extended periods of non‐use, or variations in substrates (surfaces), can potentially impact the accuracy of the measurements. In these instances, it is advisable to perform regular zeroing procedures. ‐ Press in measuring mode. ‐ Place the probe on the measuring foil.
