Leuchtie Mini Operating Instructions

IMPORTANT DOCUMENT – PLEASE RETAIN!

Initial start-up

To prevent your LEUCHTIE Mini from
switching on during transport, one of the
batteries has been inserted upside down as
a transport lock. For the initial start-up this
battery must be turned around.

Turning the battery

•
Separate the tube at the side of the
size sticker from the battery
compartment with a slight twisting
movement, taking care not to use
excessive force.
•
Remove the battery from the light tube
and turn it around.
•
Insert the battery into the light tube with
the negative pole ahead.
•
In order to secure the LEUCHTIE to the
collar / harness with the enclosed
fixation loop, pull the open end of the
tube through both transparent rubber
rings of the loop (see figure).
•
Push the battery compartment back
into the end of the tube and press them
firmly together as far as it can go.

Turning the LEUCHTIE on and off

Simply slip the LEUCHTIE over the dog's
head and it will turn on automatically by
sensor as soon as the battery compartment
points downwards and the LEUCHTIE is in
motion.
When the battery
upwards, the LEUCHTIE slowly switches off
after approx. 1 minute. Therefore, suspend
the LEUCHTIE e.g. on a hook for storage.
