surface of the gear stating "out" should
face toward outside (Fig. 33c).
6. Mount the wave washer and the
new wheel on the wheel axle. Note
that the round recess must face
outward.
7. Lock the wheel with the bolt by
tightening the bolt clockwise.
8. Mount the dust cover onto the wheel and press it into place.
REPLACING THE TRAILING SHIELD

1. Remove the battery.
2. Turn the mower on its side with the upper surface against a wall.
3. Remove the rear wheel on the top side, following the section "REPLACING THE
WHEELS" in this manual.
4. Loosen the wheel cover locking
screw, then remove the wheel
cover from the wheel shaft
(Fig. 34).
