For example: To
change channels during recording,
first push PAUSE/STILL

mode. Then select desired channel, and push PAUSE/STILL Button again

release.

To obtain proper continuity when taping from the stop mode,
or when STOP Button has been
pushed

'1. Rewind the tape
for a short distance (about
5
digits on Tape Counter)
by pushing REWIND
Button.

Activate playback
by
pushing
PLAy
Button and view
the
picture on
TV.
3.
At the location where you wish
to continue recording, push
pAUSE/SILL
Button.
4.
Then, push REC Button together with PLAY
Button;
the
unit
will go
into the record/standby
mode.
5.
Push PAUSE/STILL Button again
to
continue
recording.

to stop
recording.

If tape reaches end
before
STOP
is pushed, the tape
will stop automatically
and
rewind to the
beginning.
Push PAUSE/STILL Button to
stop the tape
temporarily.
PAUSE/STILL
Push this button again to
release
from pause mode and continue
recording.

lf the pause mode
continues for
more
than 5
minutes, the
unit will
stop
automatically in order to protect
the tape
and the video heads. Leaving unit in pause
for a long time is not
recommended.
Set VCH/TV SELECTOR
to
TV.
("VCR" goes off
on the Multi
Function
Display and TV picture
will
disappear
from the screen, but the
recording
will
continue.,=_*
Select the CHANNEL to
be
viewed
on TV.
(The
selected
channel picture
will
appear on the
TV.)
