Once you have connected the VCR to the TV
(pg.
12, 13,
17,18 or
19),
you are
ready
to
set
the
predetermined
output channel
(cH3 or
4) on which the VCR
will
send its signal
to
your
TV
set.

Turn on VCR and
TV.

Check
TV
reception in your area on channel
3
or
4.
Pick the weakest channel as your
,,predetermined',
channel.

Push the VCR/TV Selector Button located on the front of VCR,
"VCR"
will be indicated on the Multi
Function
Display.

On
back of VCR,
set
CH 3/4 switch
to
your predetermined
channel.
5.
Set your TV channel selector
to the
predetermined VHF channel (3 or
4)
you
set in
step
4.
CHANNEL RECEPTION CHECK
Set
the
VCR/TV Selector located on the front of the VCR,
"VCR" will be
indicated on
the
Multi
Function
Display.
select a
channel on the VCR that you would norrnally receive clearly in your
area.

lf the
reception
of all
VHF channels
is
unsatisfactory,
you

need to tune your
TV
set.
HOW
TO TUNE YOUR TV SET TO CHANNEL 3
or
4
Locate
the
AFT
(Automatic Fine Tuning) switch on the
TV,
and
set it
in the OFF
position.
Adjust the
TV
Fine
Tuning at
the
middle range position which gives
the
best
picture.
Reset
the AFT switch
to
the
oN
position.
The
picture should remain
clear.
