TAPE SPEED
SELECTION
The type of
tape
(NV-T60, NV-T120, NV-T160) determines
the
maximum length
of
recording
time.
There
is
a TAPE-SPEED SELECTOR
for
setting
3
recording speeds: SP, LP, SLP. They determine
how fast
the tape operates and consequently
the
amount
of
recording time available. (Refer
to
WPES
OF
VIDEO
CASSETTE table
on
page
40.)
SP speed usually gives the best quality
recording
for
normal playback. SLP gives most
economical
tape
usage.
For special effects playback, record at SP
or
SLP
speed.

The Tape Counter can be used
as a
convenient reference
to
locate recorded programs on a tape.
To
use
this
feature, rewind the tape
to the
beginning and press RESET Button so that counter reaches "0000". Then
note
counter numbers at
the
start and end
of
recorded
programs.

COUNTER
MEMORY
The
Counter Memory allows you
to
locate the start
of
a
recorded program without using the counter
numbers
table.
To
use
this function, push
the
RESET
Button so that the counter reads "0000" at the program start.
Then
push MEMORY Button so
that
"M" is
indicated on
the
Multi Function Display. When you fast
fonivard
or
rewind
the tape, the tape
will
automatically wind
to "0000"
on the Tape Counter. (The desired
prograrn
start point
on
the
tape).
