Installing a Masonry Type F (1A/41)
Cutting Guard with Foot Plate
(Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 12, Fig. 13, Fig. 14)
1. Adjust the tool as shown in Fig. 12 and Fig.
13.
2. Disconnect the Battery Pack 5 from the
tool.
3. Unscrew and remove the Side Handle 8.
4. Slide the Masonry Cutting Guard 36 on the
Guard Mounting Flange 14.
5. Rotate the Masonry Cutting Guard 36 until
the stability bracket and hole for the side
handle are aligned.
6. Screw in the Side Handle 8 to secure the
stability bracket between the tool housing
and the Handle 8.
7. Adjust the Masonry Cutting Guard 36 to
desired depth of cut.
TO REMOVE: Reverse procedure.
Installing a Dry Diamond Wheel
(Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 5, Fig. 14)
1. Place the Backing Flange 19 on the Spindle
18. Turn Flange 19 until it locks with the
base of the Spindle 18.
2. Place the Dry Diamond Wheel 37 over the
Spindle 18 and align the arbor hole with
the shoulder of the Backing Flange 19.
3. Thread on the Quick-Clamping Nut 10 and
tighten the Nut 10 using the Fold-Up Bar
17, while holding the Spindle Lock 1.
TO REMOVE: Reverse procedure.
