M3000 Pairing Instructions - Siemens S56 Mobile Phone

Before pairing the Plantronics M3000 with the Siemens S56, please ensure both

devices are fully charged according to the instructions in the respective User

Guides.

1. Turn the Siemens S56 phone and the Plantronics M3000 headset ON.

2. On the S56:

i. Press the right key under "Menu" in the display

ii. Move the cursor to the "SETUP" icon and press "SELECT"

iii. Use the cursor key to move down to "Connectivity" and press

"SELECT"

iv. Use the cursor key to move down to "Bluetooth" and press

"OPTIONS"

v. Use the cursor keys to highlight "Activate Bluetooth" and press

"SELECT"

Bluetooth will now be switched on in the phone.

Note: if Bluetooth has already been activated the only option

presented will be to "Deactivate". Press the "No / Cancel" or "End

Call" key and proceed to the next step.

3. On the Plantronics M3000:

i. Put the M3000 into pairing mode by press the "Volume Up" &

"Call Control" buttons simultaneously until the Indicator light

begins to flash alternate green and red. (see M3000 User

Instructions).

4. On the Siemens S56:

i. Press the "OPTIONS" key

ii. Use the cursor key to move down to "Search for..." and press

the "ACCESS" key

iii. After a few moments the phone will display all the Bluetooth

devices within range. Use the cursor key to highlight "M3000 by

Plantro..." and press "SELECT"

iv. The S56 will prompt you to enter the M3000 PIN code. Enter

0000, then Press "OK".

v. The display will show "Handsfree Trusted" and then return to

the "Bluetooth" option in the "Connectivity" menu. You can now

press the "No / Cancel" key to return to the main display.

Your M3000 headset is now paired with the S56 phone.
