Making and Accepting Calls
To accept an in-coming call via the M3000 Headset
1. An in-coming call will cause both the phone and the headset to ring.
Note that there may be a delay of a few seconds between the phone
ringing and the headset starting to ring.
2. When you hear the ringing tone in the M3000 headset, press the "Call
Control" button to answer the call.
If you press the "Call Control" button before the headset starts to ring the
call may not be answered and an error tone will sound in the headset.
Once you hear this tone you can then press the "Call Control" button to
pick up the call.
To end a call via the M3000 Headset
The call can be ended either by pressing the "Call End / No" key on the
T610 or by pressing the "Call Control" button on the M3000.
To place a call using the keypad:
1. Dial the number as normal and press the "Call" key on the T610. The
audio will automatically be transferred to the headset.
To place a call using Voice Dialing with the M3000 Headset:
NB: Before using the M3000 for voice dialling, ensure that you have
followed the instructions in the Sony Ericsson T610 User Guide for voice
dialling, and that you have recorded the names of the contacts you wish to
call via voice dialling. Place a test call from the T610 using voice dialling to
ensure that it is working before using the M3000 headset.
1. Press and hold the "Call Control" button on the M3000 until you hear a
beep in the headset. After a moment you will hear another beep in the
headset as a prompt for voice dialling and the phone display will show
"After the tone, say a name or command"
2. State the name of the contact you wish to dial and the call will be
placed.
Known Issues
1. The T610, as released (Software Version R1A081 prgCXC125-566_EU_2
R1A081 prgCXC125-566_TAE), does NOT support low power modes whilst
using the handsfree. Therefore, the standby time with this device will be very
poor (about 10 hours, rather than 200 hours). This issue can be fixed by
returning your phone to an authorised Sony-Ericsson service centre, and is free if
your phone is under warranty.
