6.1. HOW TO HOLD THE MACHINE WHILST
WORKING
Hold the machine with one hand on the top handle
and the other hand on the back handle in such a
way that you can always act on the control switches
(accelerator and security switch).
Attention! So as to reduce the risk of lack of control
and possible damages (even mortal) to the end user
and people nearby, never use this machine single
handedly.
This tool must not be used as a lever to lift, move or
split objects.
6.2. HEDGE CUTTING
We recommend that you test yourself firstly with
small branches in an easy position so as to get some
experience before starting with more complex cuts.
Always start the hedge cutter before placing the blade
in the cutting area. Once the hedge cutter has started,
place the machine in the hedge in a flat position
and carry out long fan like movements. If you tilt the
machine in the cutting direction you will obtain better
cutting results.
If, whilst you cut, the blade blocks, stop the machine
immediately. Before unblocking the blade:
- Ensure the machine is fully stopped, the spark plug
disconnected and the blade at a complete standstill.
