4. Turn the inverter switch in the power plug on the
product to the opposite position.
5. Connect the power cord and do a check of the
direction of rotation of the motor. Refer to
check of the direction of rotation of the motor on
page 14 .
To select the correct speed
It is important to do the operation with correct drive
speed for best result. If the surface has different quality,
adjust the drive speed for an equal result. Examine the
result and adjust the speed if it is necessary.
Turn the speed control dial clockwise to increase the
speed.
Turn the speed control dial counterclockwise to
decrease the speed.
a) Use drive speed 6–10 on concrete surfaces for
light treatment.
b) Use drive speed 0–5 on concrete surfaces for
heavy treatment.
c) Use drive speed 0–2 on steel surfaces.
To start the product
1. Connect the product to a power supply. Refer to
connect the product to a power source on page 14 .
2. Start the dust extractor. Refer to the operator's
manual of the dust extractor.

sure that the emergency stop button is disengaged.

5. Set the ON/OFF switch on the electrical enclosure in
the ON position.

8. Wait until the ammeter is in idle position.
9. Make sure that the direction of rotation of the
blastmotor is correct. Refer to

10. Turn the speed control dial to set the drive speed.
