CLEANING
Clean your motorcycle regularly to protect
the surface finishes and inspect for damage,
wear, and oil, coolant or brake fluid leakage.
High pressure water (or air) can
d a m a g e c e r t a i n p a r t s o f t h e
motorcycle.
Avoid spraying high pressure water (typical
in coin-operated car washes) at the
following areas:
Wheel Hubs
Ignition Switch
Throttle body
Brake Master Cylinders
Instruments
Handlebar Switches
Muffler Outlet
Under Fuel Tank
Drive Chain
Under Seat
Headlight

After cleaning, rinse the motorcycle
thoroughly with plenty of clean water.
Strong detergent residue can corrode
alloy parts.
Clean the fairing, headlight lens, meter
lens and other plastic parts using a cloth
or sponge dampened with a solution of
mild detergent and water. Rub the soiled
area gently rinsing it frequently with
fresh water.
The inside of the headlight lens may be
clouded immediately after washing the
motorcycle. Moisture condensation inside
the headlight lens will disappear
gradually by lighting the headlight in
high beam. Run the engine while keeping
the headlight on.
