2.6 Set up a wireless video bridge to your set-top box

Introduction
This section describesa how to set up a video bridge between your DGA4130 and your set-top box using a Technicolor
video bridge.
For other scenarios and functions, please consult the user guide of the video bridge.
We will take the Technicolor TG234 as example, but the setup procedure is equally valid for other video bridges.
What do I need?
You need one Technicolor video bridge for each set-top box that you want to connect wirelessly.
Setup procedure
For each set-top box that you want to connect to your DGA4130 via a wireless connection, proceed as follows:
1 Take the video bridge out of its box and move the mode selector on the back to Auto.
If you don't want to rely on the automatic mode selection mechanism, you can force the video bridge to station
mode by moving the mode selector to Station.
2 Connect the video bridge to your set-top box:
a Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to one of the Ethernet ports on the back of your video bridge.
b Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port of your set-top box.
3 Power on the video bridge:
a Plug the connector of the power supply adapter into the power inlet port (
b Plug the adapter into a power outlet.
c The Power LED instantly turns solid green. If this is not the case, check the connections that you made.
d Wait two minutes to allow the video bridge to complete the startup phase.
4 Connect the video bridge to your DGA4130
If the Link Quality and Wireless LEDs are on, you can skip this step because your video bridge and DGA4130
are pre-paired.
a Press the WPS button on the video bridge that you just installed.
