If you try to perform an action that is not supported, the HMI will notify as follows:
Operations that are not allowed in DEMO Mode:
-
Save and delete messages.
-
Change network settings.

Real mode

When the operating mode is switched from DEMO to REAL Mode, it is required to manually
remove the connection with the simulated printer that was automatically created in DEMO
mode. Proceed to the "Settings/General Settings/Advanced Settings/Printers network settings"
screen and click on the remove connection icon:
To run the PC software with a TIJ printer, an Ethernet connection to the RJ45 port is necessary
(See Connectors chapter).
Before connecting, the PC must be properly configured to connect and communicate with the
printer. By default, the TIJ Printer is configured with the following IP:
-
IP: 192.168.1.64
-
Port: 9991
-
Network mask: 255.255.255.0
-
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
The local network on the PC should be configured as:
-
IP: 192.168.1.X
-
Network mask: 255.255.255.0
-
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Operation in REAL Mode is the same as the 10" HMI (See Appendix 1 for more details on the
User Interface Menus). The PC software adds the following functions:
-
Transfer the messages saved in the TIJ printer to the PC.
-
Transfer the messages saved in the PC to the TIJ printer.
-
Save messages on the PC from the Editor if there is no printer connected.
