MAST OPERATION

  1. Lift the LED head fully upwards then slide the mast down to lock into the mount.
  2. Pull the lever on the black locking clamp, lift the head upwards to the desired height and push the lever back into place.
  3. To collapse the mast, reverse the procedure.

LIGHT OPERATION

  1. Press the power switch (located on the backside of the light head) once for high mode.
  2. Press again for low mode.
  3. Press again to turn off.

FLASHING MODE: From the Off position, press and hold the switch for 6 seconds for flashing high mode. Press again for flashing low mode. Press again for Off.
THE END USER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SUITABILITY OF THE MATERIALS IN THE ENCLOSURE WITH REGARD TO THE POSSIBILITY OF CHEMICALS IN THE USAGE AREA.

LOW BATTERY: The light head will flash for a short period every 10 minutes during the last 30 minutes of operation to let the user know that the battery level is low. This warning will become constant during the last 5 minutes of operation.

CHARGING


RISK OF IGNITION –

  • DO NOT OPERATE THE PRODUCT WITH THE CHARGER CONNECTED
  • DO NOT USE PRODUCT IF FRONT LENS IS CRACKED OR SWITCH COVER IS MISSING
  1. Insert the blue male charger plug into the blue female socket on the rear of the light housing and twist the blue locking collar to secure the plug.
  2. Plug the charger into the electrical outlet to begin charging.

Charger Indicator:

Slow Yellow Flashing = Pre Charge
Fast Green Flashing = Rapid Charge
Slow Green Flashing = Maintain
Solid Green Light = Ready

MAXIMUM CHARGING VOLTAGE = 14.4V
DO NOT OPERATE PRODUCT IF DAMAGED THE LIGHT HEAD AND ITS POLE ARE MADE FROM ALUMINUM AND REPRESENT AN IGNITION HAZARD IF SUBJECTED TO MECHANICAL IMPACT OR FRICTION.
THE LENS IS COATED TO AVOID RISKS OF ELECTROSTATIC CHARGES, PLEASE INSPECT FOR DAMAGE BEFORE EACH USE. IF DAMAGED (INCLUDING SCRATCHES) DO NOT USE AND RETURN TO A Peli APPROVED SERVICE CENTRE. WE RECOMMEND THAT THE LENS IS REPLACED EVERY 5 YEARS MINIMUM.
THE CHARGER MUST BE ACCORDING TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF IEC 60079-14.

ENVIRONMENTAL

At the end of its technical life, the battery should be sent to a suitable recycling center or returned to point of purchase

BATTERY CONDITIONING

It is important that the new battery in this product is fully charged prior to initial use. The charger should be left connected to the product after the green indicator on the charger is permanently on. In this state the battery receives a trickle charge and should be left connected for the 18-24 hours. There will be improvement to the light duration if this is repeated for the first 8-10 charge cycles This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

  1. This device may not cause harmful interference, and
  2. This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation

Battery Safety Information

HANDLE AND STORE BATTERIES PROPERLY TO AVOID INJURY OR DAMAGE BATTERIES CAN BE DANGEROUS!
Most battery issues arise from improper handling of batteries, and particularly from the use of damaged or counterfeit batteries. Please review the information below to avoid serious injury and/or damage to your property.

Rechargeable Batteries

  1. Hazardous location safety approvals for explosive environments are only valid for the Peli battery pack that is supplied with the light.
  2. For replacement battery packs only use the approved Peli battery pack for the model of the light that you are using. The use of other battery packs will invalidate the safety approval.
  3. Lights should only be charged in a non-hazardous location.
  4. Lights should only be charged using the Peli charger base that is supplied with the light.
  5. Lights should be charged and operated between the temperatures shown:
    Charge Temperature: -20°C to 50°C (-4°F to 122°F)
    Operating Temperature: -20°C to 50°C (-4°F to 122°F).
  6. Do not charge with alkaline batteries installed in the light. Attempting this can cause internal gas or heat generation resulting in venting, explosion or possibly fire.
  7. Deep discharge of the rechargeable battery may cause batteries to vent potentially dangerous gasses and electrolytes.
    Always dispose of all batteries properly at an approved battery recycling center.
