Remote Switching Application Interfaces The Forum 525/526 communications system supports a series of application interfaces which are used by external systems to access functions of the communications system. Communication between the external system and the Forum 525/526 communications system is principally transported via the LAN connection or using the IP network protocol.
  • Page 202 Remote Switching ● The Forum 525/526 communications system can participate in the field bus communication. This way, for instance, it is possible to make the occupied status of a terminal visible. Bus participants are configured by means of a separate software, the ETS tool.
