The HID-22-SL-3M-GAP from Larson Electronics is a Pulse Start Metal Halide Light that provides operators with the
intensity and good color rendering of a metal halide lamp in a unit that is safe for ground mounting and use in wet areas.
The HID-22-SL-3M-GAP is equipped with 3 meters (10 feet) of 16/3 SOOW cord that is terminated in a choice of general
area cord caps.

MOUNTING

HID-22-SL-3M-GAP is equipped with a rear mounted U-bracket for
mounting the light to flat surfaces, such as a wall or ceiling. Be sure the
surface you are mounting the light to is capable of supporting the load.
Mounting hardware not included. The U-bracket is pre-drilled with 2 holes
for user provided mounting hardware. The bracket is adjustable by
loosening the bolts holding it in place on either side of the box, tighten
bolts back down with bracket in desired position. The angle of the light is
adjustable by loosening the lock nut between the box and the light, swivel
light into desired position, tighten lock nut back down to hold in place.

WIRING

We strongly encourage a licensed electrician install this product
where weatherproofing may be required. This unit is available in multiple voltages, specified when ordering. Be sure
source voltage matches the voltage your fixture is rated for.
Warning: Check product label for correct input voltage!
Attach supply line wires to the appropriate light fixture wires as shown
in the diagram 
Secure each pair of wires according to the applicable diagram to your chosen
voltage and cord option. Utilize a junction box or similar device and take
precautionary steps for
location where water may come in contact with the unit. Ensure the unit is
properly grounded and that wiring is done according to all local and national
electrical/building codes.
This unit can also come pre-wired from factory with the selected cord
cap. Mate the cord cap with a compatible receptacle outputting the correct
voltage. Take precautionary steps for weatherproofing all connections if
installed in a location where water may come in contact with the unit.
All outdoor installations and indoor installations near a wet location require
the use of a GFCI device for safety, according to the National Electrical
Code® (NEC). Ensure the unit is properly grounded.
