  • Page 11 3. CHARGING a. Charging Energizer range battery and charger are sold together. Battery has not been fully charged at the factory. Before using it for the first time, charge the screwdriver's battery for 60min to 130min. Insert the charger plug into the charging socket and plug the charger into a 230V/50Hz electrical outlet.
  • Page 12 4. ASSEMBLY a. Installing the pole Unscrew the pad and remove the screw which is on the tool. Install the pole in the unit until it clicks in place. Reinstall the pad and screw it in place. Note: the pad must be put on the vertical way (against the tool) to secure the pole. b.
  • Page 13 c. Installing the battery pack Warning! Always remove battery pack from your tool when you are assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning, carrying, transporting or when not in use. Removing battery pack will prevent accidental starting that could cause serious personal injury. NOTE: To avoid serious personal injury, always remove the battery pack and keep hands clear of the lock-out button when carrying or transporting the tool.

    5. OPERATION a. Switching on and off NOTE: Before using the hedge trimmer, the protective case has to be removed from the cutter bar. Switching on Press the safety lock-out switch (1). Keep it pressed and then press the ON/OFF switch (2).

    6. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE a. Cleaning and maintenance A WARNING! RISK OF INJURY! Always switch the appliance off and remove the battery before carrying out any work on the appliance. The appliance must always be kept clean, dry and free from oil or grease. Never allow liquids to get into the appliance.
