5. OPERATION
a. Switching on and off
NOTE: Before using the hedge trimmer, the protective case has to be removed
from the cutter bar.
Switching on
-
Press the safety lock-out switch (1). Keep it pressed and then press the ON/OFF
switch (2).

The safety lock-out switch can be released now.
Switching off
-
Release the ON/OFF switch.
b. Adjusting the telescopic handle
The telescopic handle can be adjusted continuously by means of the quick release:

Loosen the quick release by pulling upwards.
