7. Cleaning and
repairing
7.1

Cleaning the device

In order to enjoy your device for a long time,
you should regularly clean it.
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!
Disconnect the power supply prior to
every cleaning.
Never immerse the device in water.
Do not let water or cleaning agent run
into the device.
CAUTION:
Never use sharp or abrasive cleaning
agents, since these may damage the
parts.
1. Pull the 12-V plug 7 from the cigarette
lighter or another 12-V socket.
2. Clean the car heating mat 3 with a
clothes brush.
3. In case of heavier soiling, clean the car
heating mat 3 with a damp cloth. You
can use a little mild detergent.
4. Wipe with clear water.
5. Do not operate the device until it is
completely dry again.
7.2 Replacing the fuse of
the 12-V plug
The 12-V plug 7 is equipped with a fuse to
protect the power-supply system of the vehi-
cle. Should the power supply no longer func-
tion, check or replace this fuse:
1. Unscrew the cap 9 at the tip of the
12-V plug 7.
2. Remove the fuse.
3. Insert a new fuse of the type F3AL
250V.
4. Screw the 12-V plug 7 back together.

8. Storage

Store the device somewhere dry place but
not too hot.
• Let the device cool before folding it;
• Avoid sharp bending of the device by
depositing objects on it during storage.

9. Disposal

This product is subject to the
provisions of European Direc-
tive 2012/19/EC. The sym-
bol showing a wheelie bin
crossed through indicates
that the product requires sep-
arate refuse collection in the European Un-
ion. This applies to the product and all
accessories marked with this symbol. Prod-
ucts identified with this symbol may not be
discarded with normal household waste, but
must be taken to a collection point for recy-
cling electric and electronic appliances. Re-
cycling helps to reduce the consumption of
raw materials and protect the environment.
Packaging
When disposing of the packaging, make
sure you comply with the environmental reg-
ulations applicable in your country.
