In certain situations, the ability to monitor two channels at once can be a valuable asset. The BTECH GMRS-V2 features Dual Watch functionality (single receiver) with the ability to lock the transmit frequency to one of the two channels it monitors.

If you transmit for a brief period of time, for testing, to check if you can hit or “kerchunk” a repeater, or for any other reason, you are always required to identify with your full call sign.
