Take of the brass cap by unscrewing the two nuts. Unscrew the nut on the adjustment screw. Compress the spring to the maximum by turning the adjustment screw clockwise. Put the system under pressure, at the desired discharge pressure. Unscrew the adjustment screw counter-clockwise until the valve starts to discharge and turn back one quarter turn, subsequently block the nut on the adjustment screw. Once the desired value has been reached, repeat the test to verify. Replace the brass cap and block with the nuts but be aware not to screw the lower nut too tightly otherwise you risk to involuntary opening of the valve. Block with the second nut (for possible vibration). Approvals Classification • The valve is classified in accordance with PED 2014/68/EU as category 1 and should not be used as a Safety Valve under any circumstances. Troubleshooting • If any maintenance is to be undertaken on the valve it is the responsibility of the installer to ensure the system is adequately drained and depressurized. • A full risk assessment should be undertaken prior to any works taking place.
