  • Page 4 Built-in SCSI Connector CAUTION Iomega internal testing indicates that the Zip drive works when connected to the end of a Fast SCSI-2 or Ultra SCSI chain using a high quality cable. However, the drive does not meet SCSI-2 or Ultra SCSI specifications and may not work correctly in these configurations.

  • Page 6 Connect the end of the data cable marked "zip" to the Zip ® connector on the back of your drive. (If the connector does not go on easily, try turning it over. Tighten all connector screws.) Zip Connector Connect the other end of the cable to the SCSI connection on your Mac.

To connect your Zip drive to this connector, use a 25 D-Sub Female to 50 Centronix Male cable converter with a Zip data cable.
