Valve insulation (items 3, 4) NOTE The valve insulation consists of an inner and outer half-shell as well as an additional cover for the blending fitting f Push the outer half-shell [4] onto the valve from the outside. f Push the inner half-shell [3] onto the valve from the inside.
6.6.2 Laying cables and hoses Note: You must have finished installing the hydraulic components and insulation. Hydraulic lines f Connect the brine hose to the angled fitting on the degassing tank. f Connect the quick coupling with pre-assem- bled safety connection to the waste water coupling and secure it with the included clip.
Establishing a sewage system connection Route two hoses to the sewage system. These hoses must not be connected or constricted at any point. f Route the flushing water hose to the sewage system connection (drain). f Secure the end of the flushing water hose to prevent it from flapping around (e.g.

Start-up Starting up f Fill the regenerative container with water half- way up the funnel-shaped sieve base [4] (see “6.3.2 Rondomat Duo 2 and 3”, page 18 and “6.3.3 Rondomat Duo 5, 6 and 10”, page 19). f Add regenerative until no more water is visible so that the brine has a chance to form while you are setting up the unit.
Installation check The installation check verifies that your product is properly connected. f Press START CHECK to begin. Installation check 3/4: Sewage system connection/siphon connection f Check that the rinsing water fed into the flushing water connection is free of bubbles and clear. If the rinsing water has a reddish or yellowish colour, repeat the rinsing process by initiating manual rinsing (for more information, see “11.5 Functions”, page 55).

Connection wizard If you perform registration during start-up, the connection wizard starts automatically and you can skip the following text section. If you want to register later, you must start the connection wizard manually. The connection wizard supports setting up the connection type that the product uses to connect to the Internet.
Entering the postcode Entering the postcode will automatically deter- mine the water hardness from the hydromaps water hardness database for the installation location of your product. f Tap inside the text box. A keypad is displayed. f Enter the postcode of the installation location of your product and press Enter to confirm your entry.

For Rondomat Duo 2 and 3, shut the two adjust- ing spindles [18+19] by turning them clockwise and then set the desired outlet water hardness by opening both spindles by the same amount (use an AQA test hardness tester to set, check and correct hardness).
Adjusting the suction rate You have to set the suction rate to adapt it to the supply pressure. Proceed as follows: f Start an extra regeneration. f In the “Salting” step, check the current suction rate in the unit status menu. 9.4.2 Performing a connection test The connection test checks the connection of your product to and from the cloud. This ensures that the connection is working from both sides. Requirement: A connection must be established via GSM, LAN or Wi-Fi, and the unit must be registered.

10.1 Starting registration on the product Registering at a later date: You can begin regis- tration at any time: > Settings > Registration Entering your e-mail address f Tap inside the text box.
