OPERATIONS
TAPE COUNTER
Indicates the tape position with a 3-digit number. To reset
the reading to "000", press the COUNTER RESET
button.

REVERSE MODE SWITCH
Works in the same way for both decks.
Only deck Il is equipped with a recording function.
— Position:
Enables playback or recording on one side of the tape.
Operation automatically stops when the tape is completely
wound up.
In the relay mode (RELAY/SKIP indicator lit), when one-side
playback in one of the decks is finished, the same operation
is performed in the other deck, then the unit stops
automatically.

[During playback —~ Repeat playback]
Both sides of the tape are played back repeatedly 6 times
(12 sides) or until the stop ( ff) button is pressed. If the
pause button is pressed during playback, playback will be
repeated 6 times more from that position when resuming
operation.
In the relay mode (RELAY/SKIP indicator lit), the unit will
repeat two-way playback on both decks for 23 tape sides,
then stop automatically. When starting from the reverse
direction, 22 sides are played back.
(During recording > Two-way recording}
Auto reverse is performed only from forward to reverse
direction. If recording is started from the reverse direction,
the unit will stop after recording only one side.

THE AUTO REVERSE MECHANISM
This unit uses the same rotary recording/playback head for
both the forward and reverse directions.
