Check each housing control while underwater to ensure that
t h e y a r e d i s e n g a g e d . A n i n a d v e r t e n t l y e n g a g e d c o n t r o l m a y l i m i t
functioning of the camera.

I f u s i n g a d o m e p o r t , t h e l e n s m u s t b e a b l e t o f o c u s t o 1 2 " ( 0 . 3 m ) . I f
the minimum focus of the lens is greater than 12" (0.3m), add a +4
diopter to the front of the lens.

Check that no controls are being accidentally pressed.
•
C h e c k t h a t t h e s h u t t e r i s n o t h a l f d e p r e s s e d . I f t h e s h u t t e r s p r i n g
h a s b e e n d a m a g e d b y a c t i v a t i o n w i t h o u t a c a m e r a i n s t a l l e d , i t m a y
not return properly . Adjust or replace the shutter spring.
