1. Set the browning control (3) to
a medium toasting level.
2. Place the slices of bread into
the toasting slots (1).
3. Push the operating lever (2)
down.
The operating indicator light of
the "Stop" button (6) lights
up, and the appliance begins
toasting.
4. Press the
ton (4).
The operating indicator light of
the "Warm up" button will
light up.
The appliance switches off au-
tomatically and the bread slic-
es are ejected upwards. The

CAUTION
Fire hazard!
Bread can catch fire. Flam-
mable objects placed imme-
diately next to the appliance
may ignite easily.
■ Do not place aluminium foil
on the bread roll attach-
ment.
■ Empty the crumb collection
tray regularly to avoid the
risk of a fire.
■ Never place bread rolls di-
rectly onto the toasting
slots.
■ Do not toast bread and
crisp up bread rolls at the
same time.
