products (e.g. oven or grill
spray) or cleaning uten-
sils (e.g. scouring pads) to
clean the appliance. They
can scratch the surface of
the appliance.
■ Dry the parts thoroughly
after cleaning.

Cleaning the housing

• Wipe the housing with a dry or
slightly damp cloth.
• To clean the inside of the appli-
ance, shake it out over a sink.

Bread can catch fire. Flam-
mable objects placed imme-
diately next to the appliance
may ignite easily.
■ Do not place aluminium foil
on the bread roll attach-
ment.
■ Empty the crumb collection
tray regularly to avoid the
risk of a fire.

1. Pull out the crumb collection
tray (7).
2. Wipe the crumb collection tray
with a dry or slightly damp
cloth.
