Assembly Instructions
Remove the parts to the boom assembly from the carton. Refer to
the parts list and exploded view drawing to help identify all the
components.
1.
Attach the (2) boom mounts to the back of your skid frame
with the (4) hex screws and hex flange lock nuts.
2.
Center the 'center boom section' onto the boom mounts and
secure in place with the (2) square u-bolts and hex flange
lock nuts. Be sure that the outer booms will fold 'backwards',
NOT upwards.
3.
Attach the nozzle harness assembly to the boom. The
clamps should be positioned over the tubes so that the
nozzles are on the back side of the boom tube.
4.
Join the boom feeder hose to the center 'cross' nozzle
assembly's open hose barb (on the top of the nozzle), then
clamp in place with a hose clamp. Route the hose under the
skid to the front end of the unit.
5.
The boom feeder hose fittings for models SK-61-4R and SK-
61-12V are different. Refer to the exploded view drawing.
6.
Remove the plug or cap fittings from the sprayer as show in
the exploded view.
7.
Thread the fittings together, using a good grade
ant to prevent leaking (for pipe threaded connections).
Garden hose threaded connections do not require seal-
ant.
8.
Join the feeder hose to the fittings and secure in place.
