    Getting Started Before you start • Unpacking: This product has been packaged to protect it against transportation damage. Unpack the appliance and keep the original packaging materials in a safe place. It will help prevent any damage if the product needs to be transported in the future, and you can use it to store the appliance when it is not in use.

    Installation Installing the air conditioner Keep the unit upright for at least two hours before installation. This portable air conditioner is designed for rooms of approximately 18–23 m Do not install and use the air conditioning in the bathroom or other size.

The unit has a memory function - when it is switched on it will operate automatically using the last used settings (unless the last mode was auto mode). This only applies if the plug remains connected.

Timer The air conditioner has a 24 hour timer, which you can set to start the unit at a later time, or to switch off the unit automatically. • In stand-by mode, press the TIMER button [ ] to activate the auto start program, and then use the UP(+) or DOWN(-) buttons to adjust the time setting.

Auto mode • Once the auto mode operation has been selected, the indoor sensor operates automatically, and will choose between the cooling [ ] and fan [ ] mode. – When the room temperature is greater than or equal to 24°C, the unit will automatically enter cooling mode.
  • Page 20 Instructions (Cont.) Dehumidifying mode Dehumidifying (dry) mode is used to remove humidity from the room without additional cooling. In this mode, you do not need to use the exhaust hose, but the water collected must be discharged regularly. • Press the MODE button until the dry mode indicator illuminates. NOTE: In dehumidifying mode, you cannot activate the sleep function and the fan speed is preset at low and cannot be adjusted.

Condensed water cycles to cool down the condenser, which will not only improve cooling efficiency, but also save energy. When the water level in the inner tank is getting too full, an automatic water level sensor illuminates the WATER FULL indicator [ ] on the control panel to alert you that the drip tray needs to be emptied.
