DEVICE DESCRIPTION UV-FCU-CL series consists of a kit including a UV-C germicidal lamp of reduced size complete with power supplies and fixing accessories such as clips and other, ready to be installed inside fan coils or in centralized air conditioning systems (AHU - Air Treatment Unit), with the aim of eliminating the microbial load (bacteria and mold) from the thermal batteries (Coils). - Page 5 LIGHT PROGRESS FCU-CL [eng] APPLICATIONS AND RESULTS Air Sanitization in FANCOIL UNITS This system for air disinfection treats also the internal section of the fan coil, such as thermal battery and the conden- sation water that is formed. LIGHT PROGRESS FCU-CL [eng] INSTALLATION Installation in FANCOIL UNITS To install it you need to fix supplied clips using self tapping screws. The perfect spot to apply UV-FCU-CL is the space between fan and heat/cooling battery. Remove all components from the box, checking their integrity. Follow the steps following the images below. These are the operations needed to as- semble: 1) According to the type of arrangement chosen, and just if needed, cut the vertical uprights (UpR-AL ..) to a length...

This device works with direct irradiation, for this reason it should be turned on only in the absence of people as it can cause eyes and skin irritation. In order to prevent accidental exposure to UV rays you should provide an automatic shutdown system at any time when doors are opened and allow contact sight of UV lamps.
