TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
Machine does not operate.
Machine does not self–propel
(BR–2500 ONLY).
Pad motor does not operate.
Pad drive motor circuit breaker
trips continuously.
Pad driver vibrates during use.
Batteries deliver below–normal
run time.
Dust control ineffective.
Transport drive circuit breaker
trips during use.
BR–2250/BR–2500 (11–01)
CAUSE
Key switch is OFF.
Battery connector is not plugged into
machine connector.
Batteries discharged.
Ignition fuse blown.
Loose or corroded battery cables.
Electrical malfunction.
Drive circuit breaker tripped.
Drive chain broken.
Electrical malfunction.
Wheel bearing frozen.
Head not lowered and locked in
ready (down) position.
Pad circuit breaker tripped.
Electrical malfunction.
Dirty pad.
Improper pad for application.
Improper pressure adjustment.
Defective circuit breaker.
Worn motor brushes.
Pad off center.
Pad out of round or damaged.
Pad driver damaged or out of balance.
Batteries not fully charged.
Electrolyte level is low.
Cables are loose or corroded.
Pad pressure is too heavy.
Improper pad causing too much amp
draw.
Charger is defective.
Battery is defective.
Filter bag is full or dirty.
Skirt not adjusted properly
or damaged.
Pad is worn excessively.
Dust control hose plugged with debris.
Operator attempting inclines.
Machine travel obstructed.
Operator using directional control as
brake.
Drive circuit breaker defective.
Drive Motor brushes worn.
Home Find... Go To..
SOLUTION
Turn key switch ON.
Plug connector into machine.
Charge batteries.
Replace fuse.
Clean and lubricate.
Contact Authorized Service Center.
Reset breaker.
Replace.
Contact Authorized Service Center.
Contact Authorized Service Center.
Lower head into ready position.
Reset breaker.
Contact Authorized Service Center.
Replace.
Change to correct pad.
Reduce pressure.
Contact Authorized Service Center.

Reposition pad.
Replace with new pad.

Charge batteries.
Fill to proper level and charge.
Clean and lubricate.
Reduce pressure.
Change to proper pad.
