    DNP3.0 Reference Manual 1 Background The PQube 3 supports the Distributed Network Protocol version 3 (DNP3.0) outstation device software module with communication over Ethernet TCP/IP. The PQube 3 supports DNP3.0 level 1-4 functionality with Analog Point Objects, Binary Output Control Objects, Dataset Objects, Octet String Objects, Analog Event Objects, and File Transfer Objects.

    DNP3.0 Reference Manual 2 Basic Outstation Configuration and Settings DNP3.0 is enabled and configured with the following Setup.ini file tags in the section “DNP3”: • DNP3/Enable_DNP3 o Enable the DNP3 slave outstation client. Default OFF. • DNP3/DNP3_Port o Configure the DNP3 outstation listening port. Default 20000. •...

Instead, relay 1 will always trip on a reboot/power down, and close when the PQube 3 locks onto a frequency and is ready to start measurement. The pulse functionality is presently not supported.

    DNP3.0 Reference Manual 2.4 DNP3.0 Analog Input Value Change Events versus PQube 3 Internal Events Events hold two meanings in the DNP3.0/PQube 3 space: • DNP3.0 analog change events are changes in values on Analog Input points creating an unsolicited message upload from the PQube 3 when an analog point exceeds a configured DNP3.0 analog input threshold range.
