    6. Inbetriebnahme Batterien einsetzen 1. Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel (1) auf. 2. Legen Sie die im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Batterien, wie im Batteriefach aufgedruckt, in das Batteriefach ein. Achten Sie beim Einlegen auf die korrekte Polarität (+/-) der Batterien. 3. Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel (1) wieder zu, bis er hör- und spür- bar fest einrastet.
  • Page 13 - Setzen Sie das Gerät mit dem Heizplättchen (3) auf die Einstich- oder Bissstelle. - Für eine 3-sekündige Anwendung drücken Sie den Aktivierungsknopf (5) einmal. Der halbe, blaue Leuchtring (4) signalisiert Ihnen, dass die Anwendung beginnt. Diese kurze Anwendungszeit wird für die Erstan- wendung oder die Anwendung auf empfindlicher Haut empfohlen.

    5. Wird das Gerät nicht mehr benötigt, stellen Sie es mittels des EIN/AUS- Schalters (2) wieder auf „AUS“. Dies ist mit dem Symbol „O“ gekenn- zeichnet. Die blaue Gerätestatus-LED (6) geht aus. 6. Achten Sie vor dem Verstauen darauf, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet und das Heizplättchen (3) abgekühlt ist.

    • Bei Anwendung des Gerätes auf mehreren Einstich- oder Bissstellen wird empfohlen, das Heizplättchen jedes Mal zu reinigen. So vermindert sich die Möglichkeit, dass Keime und Bakterien von einer Hautstelle zur nächs- ten übertragen werden. Verwenden sie zur Desinfektion des Heizplätt- chens ein handelsübliches alkoholisches Desinfektionstuch.

Sensitivity to pain could, in certain circumstances, be reduced and diabetics may burn themselves. • Do not use the device on people with disabilities, children under 3 years old or people with reduced sensitivity to heat.

    6. Initial use Inserting the batteries 1. Push open the battery compartment lid (1). 2. Insert the batteries included in delivery into the battery compartment as shown inside the battery compartment. When inserting the batteries, en- sure that the correct polarity (+/-) is observed. 3.

This short application time is recommended for first use or use on sensitive skin. - For a 6-second application, press the activation button (5) twice in quick succession.
